This in-depth study of Revelation 7 presents a clear understanding of the identity of this much-discussed group of God’s people, the time and importance of their sealing, and their place in the fulfilment of prophetic events. While many find the apocalyptic prophecies filled with fear and foreboding, Were presents them in a Christ-cantered message of hope.
These nine sermons were presented by Ellen G. White at the General Conference Session and the General Conference Institute which preceded the 1888 session in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The talks include "A Living Connection with God," "Tell of God's Love and Power," "Advancing in Christian Experience," with "Counsels on Ministers and Missionary Work" and ending with "A Call to a Deeper Study of the Word."
On Tuesday, May 7, 1889 at eight o'clock in the evening, Ellen G. White arrived at the Ottawa Kansas Camp Meeting, where combined meetings for organization, delegations and conference work was being done. This Camp Meeting took place approximately six months after the historic 1888 General Conference at Minneapolis and the passionate sermons given by Alonzo T. Jones, Mrs. White, and others have given clearer insights to the 1888 message.
Why do you believe what you believe? Do you base it on your own opinions, other people's opinions, popular culture, scholars, the media? Or do you base your beliefs on the Bible, and the Bible only? God's inspired Word has stood the test of time, and it is the only solid foundation that we have to base our beliefs on. Thirty-Five Reasons Why I Keep the Bible Sabbath relies on the Word of God to clearly document why the seventh-day Sabbath of the Bible is, was, and will remain the true Sabbath.

During and since the Persian Gulf War, no topic has been in the headlines more than the NEW WORLD ORDER that is coming. World figures, from John Paul II with the release of his 9th encyclical, Centesimus Annus, in which he called for a New world Order; to George Bush in his war speeches and the State of the Union address he said:" It's a big idea: a New World Order......Only the United States has both the moral standing and the means to back it up."
A Solemn Appeal contains articles by Ellen G. White which first appeared in the book, A Solemn Appeal Relative to the Solitary Vice and Abuses and Excesses of the Marriage Relation,
It is no anachronism to republish Joseph Alleine's book, A Sure Guide to Heaven, from a day when men were more deeply conscious of the world to come. When the spiritual history of the Western World in the 20th century is written, it may well be seen as the epoch of spiritual sloth and slumber. Eternal realities seemed vaguely-defined and far-removed from daily life, and conformity to the world took the form of carelessness and neglect of spiritual issues. Written by a servant of God whose preaching and writing were used to alarm and awaken many to the concerns of life and death.
This remarkable document, issued during the critical four-year period between the Great disappointment of October 22, 1844, and the memorable Sabbath conference of 1848, gives an insight into the memorable Sabbath conference of 1848, gives an insight into the experience and thinking of our pioneers in their earnest efforts to discover their position and work and to ascertain what the future held for the believers and the world

"I found in my agony of searching something for which I have been continually grateful. I found the ABC's of prayer. "In Matthew 7:7 I learned the 'A' of prayer. 'Ask and it shall be given you.' In Mark 11:24 I learned the 'B' of prayer. 'Believe.' Believe that you have received the answer! Isn't that simple? Yes, the rudiments are simple, but to do it is something else. To kneel down before God and open His book to any one of the 3,573 promises, or clusters of promises, and place my hand on it and ask God, with the simplicity of a little child, to fulfill this promise in my behalf, and then believe He will do it, simply because He has promised, is not a complicated thing. "The 'C' is the prayer of reception. And this I had to learn after having preached for many years. The 'C' is to claim the promise for which I have asked, and which I have told God I believe. I claim it by returning thanks that I have received it. This is the secret that had eluded me for many years.
